Bacon mushroom green beans…need I say more? This is the perfect side dish to any meal you can imagine!
I like adding bacon to anything I can think of because…bacon.
Is there anything better?
Okay, how about bacon and butter and garlic together mixed with earthy mushrooms and tender green beans.
#winning. 😉
There’s nothing better than cooking your two favorite vegetables together and then topping them with crumbled bacon.
Did I mention they’re cooked in the bacon fat? And butter.
Because yum.
And it’s the holidays and we’re not counting calories right now. We can do that in January. 😉
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I’m a lover of side dishes and like to make a big assortment when hosting holidays or get togethers.
And this is another really simple and quick side dish that I make during the holidays, but I’ve been known to make it as an easy dinner and just eat it on it’s own too. I adore mushrooms, and could eat them all the time.
They’re a great meaty veg and are so good at absorbing any flavor you cook it with and there’s no better flavor than bacon. 😉
Here’s how to make it…
