These Dorito nachos are the perfect game day appetizer or a quick and easy dinner idea the whole family will love!
Happy National Nacho Day!
You can’t make this shiz up… 😀
When did different food types start getting their own day? I don’t remember celebrating National Meatloaf Day as a kid, do you? And thank goodness for that. 😉
I’m not complaining though. Especially today, because who doesn’t love an awesomely loaded plate of nachos, and even more so when they’re made with Doritos! #winning
Whenever my daughter has friends over, I like being able to make them easy things to pick on.
Hot dogs and pizza get old fast, but when mom brings out a tray of meaty, cheesy loaded nachos…it stops them right in their tracks. 🙂
It’s fun to mix it up with flavor combinations. Right now my kid and her friends are on a spicy kick! We used spicy Doritos and hot sauce but if you’re feeling more in a cool ranch type of mood, don’t be afraid to experiment! The fun and flavors are endless.
Best part? Clean up is a breeze! Serve it all up on a sheet pan and let them dive in.
This super easy dish isn’t limited to just the kids, though! Game days, poker nights, ladies night in (possibly with too much tequila) 😉
These are the perfect appetizer to serve at any of those and more…
Here’s how I make them…

Cool ranch with buffalo chicken, traditional Doritos with bbq chicken…These are nacho normal nachos. 😉

Talk to you soon, friends. Take care!

Substituted plain corn tortilla chips to reduce salt. This is delicious!
