Ingredients
For the Pork Dumpling Filling
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 ½ cups finely chopped napa cabbage
- 3 grated carrots
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 cup water mixed with chicken bullion
- salt and pepper, garlic powder, onion powder to taste
For the Lasagna Layers
- 1 package on refrigerated wonton wrappers
- Optional: chili crisp for heat
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dumpling Filling
In a dutch oven, brown ground pork, then add napa cabbage, carrots, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and fish sauce. Add in seasonings to desired taste.
Cook the mixture in a skillet over medium heat until pork is fully browned and cabbage is tender. Drain excess liquid if needed.
Step 2: Pour Out Mixture into Bowl and Set Aside
Step 3: Assemble the Lasagna
Add the water with chicken bullion to the empty pot and start layering the wonton wrappers overlapping in a layer. Then add a few spoonfuls of the meat and even out. Keep doing this until you end with a layer of the wontons on top. Preheat oven to 375°F.
Step 4: Bake
Cover with lid or foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove lid and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until wontons are soft and bubbly.
Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
