This creamed pearl onions recipe is so easy to make and pairs great with any meal! It will become an instant classic on your holiday menu!
Serious question.
How do we feel about the larger image size? Yes, no? Is it like woah in your face, or woah! Let me face dive into that… 😀
I’m doing some updates around my site and social media pages and am playing around with graphics so pardon the dust, but I wanted to pop in real quick and share this super easy side dish that I always have to have during the holidays.
These creamy pearl onions with garlic and herbs is my hands down favorite and pairs great with turkey, prime rib, steak, or pork. I’m obsessed and could eat the whole bowl on it’s own. 🙂
While the main meat is always the star, I’m one of those people that lives for the side dishes and likes to have a lot of different options. I love this because it’s super easy to make and adds so much flavor!
It’s also a great “base” recipe to add other flavors into the mix. Like when I make it with prime rib, I’ll add some horseradish into it. I’ve even thrown a little parmesan in on occasion for a whole other layer of flavor!
You can definitely do this with fresh pearl onions, but I use frozen just to cut back on time. Like I said, I go crazy with the side dishes so I’m looking for short cuts to make my holiday meal prep a little easier. 🙂
Here’s how to make it…
