This Copycat Texas Roadhouse Seasoned Rice is a simple, flavorful side dish that tastes just like the restaurant favorite. Made with long-grain rice, chicken broth, butter, and savory seasonings, it’s the perfect accompaniment to steak, chicken, pork chops, and more.

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the rice and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly toasted.
- Stir in the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper if using.
- Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce. Stir well.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
- Remove from heat and let rest, covered, for 5 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork and serve warm.

- For the closest Texas Roadhouse flavor, use chicken broth rather than water.
- Add a little extra butter before serving for richer flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
