- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup diced onion
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Dough
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
Egg Wash
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon water

- Sesame seeds
- Dill pickle slices
- Burger sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Cook bacon until crisp and crumble into pieces.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain excess grease.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt, black pepper, and diced onion. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow mixture to cool slightly.
- Divide pizza dough into 4 equal portions.
- Roll each portion into an 8-inch circle.
- Spread a small amount of ketchup and mustard onto one side of each dough circle.
- Divide the beef mixture evenly among the dough circles.
- Top with bacon, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
- Fold dough over filling to form a half-moon shape.
- Seal edges and crimp with a fork.
- Whisk egg and water together. Brush over calzones.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- Cut a small slit in the top of each calzone.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

- Let the filling cool before assembling to prevent soggy dough.
- Add chopped dill pickles inside for extra cheeseburger flavor.
