This homemade peppermint white chocolate mocha is one of my favorite holiday drinks! It’s so easy to make too!
One way to tell the holidays are right around the corner is when the coffee shops start announcing the comeback of their seasonal flavored lattes.
Oh yes.
You know the ones I’m talking about.
Unlucky for me, the closest Starbucks is a good 20-30 minutes away depending on the traffic.
So what’s a Venti double shot {anything} addict to do? Learn to make my own of course!
One of my seasonal favorites is none other than the peppermint white mocha, and today I’m going to show you just how easy it is to make…
- Ingredients:
- mocha coffee
- milk (I use low fat, but whatever your preference)
- white chocolate peppermint candies
- whipped cream
- cute holiday mug
-First make your coffee
-In a microwave safe measuring cup, microwave 1/2 cup of milk for 30-45 seconds on high
-Carefully remove the milk and add 2 heaping tablespoons of your white chocolate candy to it (I’m using Andes Peppermint Crunch Baking Chips)
-Stir the candy and milk together until chocolate has melted
-Add milk mixture to coffee
-Top with whipped cream, and sprinkle with more white chocolate peppermint candies
And that’s it!
So until a certain coffee shop opens closer to me..ahem ahem…Starbucks…
I’ll be enjoying my homemade version, and now you can too!
Enjoy!
