Description

Creamy, herby, and incredibly simple, this tarragon tuna pasta salad is perfect for quick lunches, potlucks, and make-ahead meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz rotini pasta

  • 1 (12 oz) can chunk white tuna, drained

  • ½ cup celery, finely chopped

  • ½ cup onion, finely diced

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons sweet relish

  • 1½ tablespoons fresh tarragon, finely chopped

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and allow to cool slightly.

  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, tuna, celery, and onion.

  3. Add mayonnaise, sweet relish, and chopped tarragon. Stir gently until evenly coated.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

  • Fresh tarragon adds a light, slightly sweet herbal flavor that pairs beautifully with tuna.

  • For extra creaminess, add an additional tablespoon or two of mayonnaise before serving.

  • This pasta salad tastes even better after chilling.
