I’m on a budget.
And after buying our first house, that budget is getting smaller and smaller.

I put on the spackle really sloppy with a rubber spatula, and used my fingers in the tight spots, making sure to leave lots of dents and crevices.
And I squared off the bottom of it to give it a cleaner and more updated look.
Then, I let it dry and set overnight, and woke up to this.
You guys…
- RUSTOLEUM SPRAY PAINT (ANY COLOR YOU LIKE)
- SPACKLE
- A RUBBER SPATULA
Can’t get any simpler than that and for less than $20.00, I made my version of a Pottery Barn Knock off!
WOW WOW WOW! I love it! What a great deal for $5! Love the way you updated it with spackle and spraypaint. Great job! Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the shout out. 🙂
I’m really liking what you did with that lamp.
I have a blog party called the “Bunny Hop” happening right now! It is for newish bloggers and you are invited.
