Instructions

In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in hot water until a soft dough forms. Cover and let rest for 1 hour.

Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.

Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Keep warm.

Divide dough in half. Roll each portion into a 4-inch circle on a lightly floured surface.

Heat 1 inch of oil in a skillet to 350°F. Fry dough for 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Drain on paper towels.
