Soft, rich, old-fashioned homemade egg noodles made with just 5 simple pantry ingredients. These tender noodles cook up perfectly for chicken soup, beef stroganoff, or tossed with melted butter and fresh parsley for a comforting side dish. Ingredients

  • 1 egg

  • 2 egg yolks

  • 3 tbsp cold water

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 cups flour


Instructions

  • Beat egg and yolks until light.

  • Add water and salt.

  • Stir in flour until dough forms.

  • Knead until smooth.

  • Roll to 1/8-inch thickness.

  • Cut into strips.

  • Cook 7–9 minutes in boiling water.

Notes

  • Add more flour if sticky.

  • Freeze uncooked noodles up to 2 months.
