Tender lobster tails simmered in rich garlic butter, white wine, and Old Bay seasoning. This easy yet elegant seafood recipe is perfect for entertaining, holidays, or a special dinner at home — and don’t forget the crusty bread for dipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter

  • ½ cup olive oil

  • 10 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning

  • 2 cups dry white wine or vermouth

  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced

  • 68 lobster tails (46 oz each), shells cut lengthwise and meat loosened

Instructions

  1. Add the butter, olive oil, sliced garlic, Old Bay seasoning, white wine, and lemon slices to a 5–7 quart slow cooker.

  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 3 hours, allowing the garlic to soften and infuse the sauce.

  3. Nestle the lobster tails into the garlic butter mixture, meat side up. Spoon some of the sauce over each tail.

  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 45–60 minutes, until the lobster meat is opaque and tender.

  5. Spoon additional garlic butter sauce over the lobster before serving.

  6. Serve directly from the slow cooker set to warm, with crusty bread for dipping.

Notes

  • Slice the garlic instead of mincing for a mellow, sweet flavor.

  • Avoid overcooking — lobster is done as soon as the meat turns opaque.

  • Serve with extra lemon wedges and plenty of napkins.
