Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 68 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp beef bouillon granules
  • 1 1/4 cups beef broth
  • 1 package (19 oz) frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup shredded Italian cheese blend
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and no longer pink, breaking it into crumbles. Drain excess grease if needed.
  • Stir in the Montreal steak seasoning, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the beef broth and stir in the beef bouillon granules. Bring to a boil.
  • Add the frozen tortellini and stir to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Return to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 3–5 minutes or until tortellini are tender.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with shredded Italian cheese blend and parmesan. Cover and let sit until melted.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add 1/2 cup heavy cream for a creamier sauce
  • Use fresh tortellini for a softer texture and quicker cook time
  • Swap ground beef for Italian sausage for extra flavor
  • Add spinach at the end for a fresh, easy veggie boost
  • For extra garlic flavor, add an additional clove or two
