Description
Crispy fried cheesecake egg rolls made with creamy cheesecake filling wrapped in eggroll wrappers and fried until golden brown. A quick and easy dessert that’s perfect for parties or when you want a warm, indulgent treat.
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 eggroll wrappers
1 egg, beaten (for sealing wrappers)
vegetable oil for frying
Optional Toppings
powdered sugar
strawberry syrup
chocolate syrup
caramel sauce
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Lay an eggroll wrapper flat on a clean surface with one corner facing toward you.

Spoon about 2 tablespoons of cheesecake filling into the center of the wrapper.

Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold in the sides, and roll tightly like a burrito. Brush the top corner with beaten egg to seal.

Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a skillet or pot to 350°F.

Fry the cheesecake egg rolls for 2–3 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and crispy.

Remove and place on a paper towel lined plate to drain.

Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with strawberry syrup or chocolate syrup before serving.
Notes
Do not overfill the eggroll wrappers or they may burst while frying.
Serve warm for the best creamy cheesecake texture.
