Ingredients

3 ¾ cups biscuit or baking mix

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon fresh chives, minced

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 tablespoons melted butter (optional, for brushing tops)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine biscuit mix, shredded cheddar cheese, minced chives, and red pepper flakes.

Stir in heavy cream just until dough comes together. Do not overmix.

Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead 8–10 times.

Pat dough to ½-inch thickness. Cut with a 3-inch star cookie cutter.
