Ingredients

Scale

Rice Krispie Layer

  • 6 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 (10-ounce) bag mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Pistachio Layer

  • 1½ cups pistachio cream
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Chocolate Layer

  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Garnish

  • ¼ cup chopped pistachios
  • ¼ cup melted white chocolate (optional)

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  • Remove from the heat and fold in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and gently press into an even layer. Do not pack it too tightly. Let cool for about 15 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the pistachio cream, tahini, and melted butter until smooth and spreadable.
  • Spread the pistachio mixture evenly over the Rice Krispie layer. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • Place the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  • Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the pistachio layer.
  • Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and drizzle with melted white chocolate if desired.
  • Refrigerate for 45 to 60 minutes, or until the chocolate has set.
  • Slice into squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use fresh marshmallows for the softest, chewiest texture.
  • Press the Rice Krispie mixture gently into the pan so the treats stay light and soft.
  • Refrigerate before slicing for clean layers.
  • A hot knife wiped clean between cuts makes perfect bakery-style squares.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Make It Your Own

  • Use dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate for a richer flavor.
  • Add finely chopped roasted pistachios to the pistachio layer for extra crunch.
  • Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the chocolate before it sets.
  • Finish with edible gold sprinkles for an elegant Dubai chocolate-inspired presentation.
