Description

All the classic flavors of a Big Mac transformed into a creamy, crowd-pleasing pasta salad! Loaded with seasoned ground beef, cheddar cheese, pickles, lettuce, and homemade burger sauce, this easy pasta salad is perfect for cookouts, potlucks, BBQs, and family dinners.


Ingredients

Pasta Salad

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced dill pickles
  • ½ cup diced white onion
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Big Mac Dressing

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder


Instructions

  • Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  • Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess grease and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cool completely.
  • In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine pasta, cooled ground beef, cheddar cheese, pickles, onion, and cherry tomatoes.
  • Pour dressing over the pasta mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  • Fold in shredded lettuce just before serving.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy.

Notes

  • Add cooked bacon for a bacon cheeseburger version.
  • Stir in lettuce right before serving to keep it crisp.
  • Can be made up to 24 hours ahead; add lettuce just before serving.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
