Ingredients
Chicken Wings
-
3 pounds chicken wings (drummettes or split wings)
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
1½ teaspoons kosher salt
-
1 teaspoon smoked or sweet paprika
-
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Hot Honey Dijon Garlic Sauce
-
¾ cup hot honey
-
¼ cup Dijon mustard
-
2 tablespoons soy sauce
-
3 cloves garlic, finely minced or grated
-
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
-
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, to taste)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.
-
Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Place on the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, paprika, and black pepper. Toss to coat and arrange wings in a single layer.
-
Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are golden and crispy.
-
While wings bake, whisk together hot honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes in a glass bowl until smooth.
-
Remove wings from oven and spoon sauce evenly over the wings, tossing gently to coat.
-
Return to oven and bake an additional 8–10 minutes, until sauce is bubbling and caramelized.
-
Remove from oven and let rest 2–3 minutes before serving.
Notes
-
For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end.
-
Adjust heat by increasing or reducing red pepper flakes.
-
Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing if desired.
