2 cups shredded sharp white cheddar cheese (diced)

Instructions
In a large sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour when butter has melted until mixture clumps up. Whisk in the milk slowly until a thick white sauce forms.
Add chopped onions, cheese, broccoli, garlic, seasonings, and cream cheese to your slow cooker. Add the sauce from the pan, and the chicken broth. Stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
Uncover and blend with hand blender until desired consistency. Add salt and pepper if needed
