A friend of mine’s daughter turned the BIG O.N.E today. They threw her the cutest ‘Minnie Mouse’ themed party I have ever seen. She had some really inspiring DIY party decor ideas, so I asked her if I could share some of the photos I took of the decorations and food, and she said it was okay. Thanks Gisell!
They rented the gazebo at our town community pool and decked it out with blue, green, and pink tissue pompoms in assorted shapes and sizes. I just love tissue paper poms, don’t you?!
Gisell made these adorable, edible Minnie shaped rice crispy treat centerpieces to put on the tables, and I just thought they were the cutest things! They were almost too cute to eat. Almost.
Then there was the activity table…
Kids were able to decorate their pail sets filled with chalk, stick on tattoos, and bubbles. Gisell used chalk paint to paint Minnie heads on the bucket so the kids could write their names. The pails double dutied as a goodie bag too that later on was filled with tons of candy from the broken pinata.
She had smaller buckets as well on the activity table that displayed the reason why we were there to celebrate.
But my favorite thing had to be this…
These cake push pops were set on a handmade three tiered holder that she made out of styrofoam, and then wrapped the edges in ribbon. The push pops were so yummy and the containers can be re-used! You can find the containers to make your own cake pops Here
.
It was such a fun evening. We had a great time and I left totally inspired by Gisell’s craftiness. Have you been to any adorable theme parties lately?
Have a great weekend,

What an amazing birthday! Little ones have such cool decorations for their parties these days. Maybe I should go all out for my 30-something birthday in the fall, just to keep up, you know. LOL

Hi Racahel! I’m pretty sure she made it using thick construction paper, and attached a pink hair bow on top with glue.
