This low fat turkey chili recipe is a great staple to add to your dinner rotation!
Confession- I’ve been snacking on the Halloween candy a little too much lately. I hope I’m not alone! 🙂
I don’t normally have a big sweet tooth, but this year those peanut butter pumpkin cups and chocolate covered almonds are screaming my name!
So I need to counterbalance all that chocolate with some low fat meals until these trick or treaters come and take my stash of candy away. 20 DAYS AND COUNTING…I don’t need to go into the holiday season 10 lbs. heavier. Yikes! Hurry up kids!
This low fat turkey chili recipe is a staple in my house when the weather turns cooler. I like my chili spicy and this does the trick to warm me up when I’m feeling a bit chilly! Plus I can feel good about eating it when each bowl is less than 300 calories. #winning
Lean ground turkey, red kidney beans, crushed tomatoes and lots of spices and goodies topped with some low fat sour cream and fresh green onions…It’s like a big warm hug from the inside out. 🙂
I love making a big batch of this and keeping it in the fridge to eat all week. It reheats up great and actually tastes better I think, a day or two later.
I love a great soup or stew recipe, don’t you? And this one is definitely a keeper! While I love my go-to chili and taco chili I make in the crockpot, this low fat turkey chili is just so simple and quick to make.
Here’s how to make it…
