Sometimes a craft idea will practically smack me in the face when I enter a store. It happened the other day at the Dollar Tree when I went in to get a few items for my daughters birthday party coming up this weekend. There, in the middle of the entrance they had medium-small sized grapevine wreaths for $1 a piece and it stopped me in my tracks. BOO!
What’s better than a cute Halloween craft? A {cheap} cute Halloween craft.
Like $4.
Serious!
Here’s how…
I bought 4 wreath forms, and then went outside and clipped some twigs off of my tree to make the line on the “B.”
Then I laid the word out on my counter and used zip ties to secure everything tight, and cut off the excess tie if needed.
Then to add a little more “oooo” to my “boo” I made a little ribbon spider web on the last “o” by weaving it in and out of the vines, and tied a cute little spider to the end of the ribbon so he hangs.
There ya have it…Oh and…Uhh sorry for the afternoon glare. My house faces west and I was in a rush snapping these pictures.
And just in case you’re wondering what’s by my front door…
And here’s what’s behind it…
hehehe…I’d listen to him, if I were you…
Talk to you soon.
XO
Very clever and the price is certainly right! My mom’s dog could get candy kisses out of the wrapper. He loved those babies! ~ Maureen
Nice to meet you Christine. Your Boo wreath is darling. I love the dollar store, so many wonderful items to decorate with. Your porch looks charming and perfect for the season.
