In our house we tend to not be big on breakfast. A bowl of cereal, or a yogurt parfait is plenty in the morning to get us going, but we still love our breakfast foods. Quiche, frittatas, open faced breakfast sandwiches, savory waffles…all of these items make FANTASTIC and pretty easy to make dinner options!
My daughter would have absolutely no complaints if I made her pancakes every night 😉
I’m on a mission this school year to ditch the fast food lines and make more meals at home. Breakfast type foods are going to keep things easy on the wallet and easy in general! I could get a few meals out of a dozen eggs and a loaf of bread and the combinations and flavors are endless in what you could do with them.
